Dump O' Sketches 72

A few weeks ago I decided to revamp two characters of mine both in story and design. I haven't done anything with them since I dropped them from my story with Nuki and Kage which was back in, like, '06-'07? My original idea for them is that they're demon hunters and I'm going to keep that. So here are some concept sketches I've done last month.

First up is Iyaru and the only drawing I have of her on here is this one from 2005 - fav.me/d86y0s. I decided to keep her name and make her Japanese. (She wasn't when I first created her. I just liked giving my characters Japanese sounding names back in the early 2000's when I was super into anime.) Her hair has changed pretty drastically going from very long to a slightly grown out pixie. I also wanted to keep some of the blue in her hair. One thing I possibly will keep is that Iyaru has a psychic ability, that's where the purple eyes come in.

Second is Koji. I'm going to change his name to Colten instead. Here's an old drawing of him: Untitled. His design changes are a bit more of the subtle side. Hair's not as spikey, gave him a natural eye color, gave him freckles, and beefed him up. Back when I created him I had this dragon necklace, you can see it in the old drawing, and I had this idea that it gave him some kind of power but never expanded on it. I want to still use that and have an idea that can work.

The third character is new. His name is Cliff.  He took in Colten and Iyaru when they were younger and trained them to be demon hunters.
